Old Pages
From Audacity Manual
ToDo Gradually remove items from this list as they are modernised and added into Main Page or are deemed obsolete and deleted - and add other old pages to this list if you find them...
My view: there may be some place for some "glossary" terms in the index I think we need i.e. they aren't necessarily links (at any rate internal - they could be Wikipedia links), but just an explanation. Or they could be an explanation as well. For example:
dB or Decibels - A logarithmic unit (typically of sound pressure) describing the ratio of that unit to a reference level.
MIDI [ Musical Instrument Digital Interface. A protocol for transmitting not an audio signal, but digital data that makes instruments play notes, or software display a musical score.

Podcasting Book
Peter 13Feb12: Is Dominic's Podcasting Book (and its heir pages) now a set of "Old Pages"? Is it redundant? Should it remain in the Manual?
- Gale 14Feb12: I think there should be a on the whole thing to trawl it for any useful content or images then delete it. I have asked Dominic if this is OK. I would be surprised if there isn't something useful in it for the "Mixing a Narration With Background Music" tutorial, unless it's already been trawled for that. If it remains in the manual it needs some tidying up, someof teh pages have long outstanding ToDos (which is how I discovered the whole set). Nothing seems to link to it, apart from this page - so it is pretty "lonely". I can see it could be useful on the forum for folk who ask Podcasting Questions.
- Peter 14May12: I discussed this again with Gale and we decided to delete it, which I duly did over the weekend.
Lonely Pages
These are pages which, after other clean ups, had no pages linking to them.
- Audacity_Manual_Contents - Three images that may be of use.
- Basic Calculus of Acoustics - Speed of sound, frequency/wavelength info.
Almost Lonely Pages
These pages weren't linked to via any route from the main page. They may link to each other though!
Peter 13Feb12: I don't see the value in these - I vote to delete them.
Old Tutorials
Any of these that we want to keep should be linked to directly from the main page tutorial section. The style and tone of these tutorials may need attention to fit in with the newer ones.
Peter 13Feb12: I think that all of these are now redundant. None have been maintained for quite sometime and the material is dealt with adequately elsewhere in the manual in my opinion. Retaining them here is really a potential recipe for confusion. I would vote to delete them.
